Is It That Time?

Billions fans were sad to see Bobby Axelrod, the show’s main character, exit after five seasons. A shift in the storyline took place in season six, in which Axelrod’s longtime rival Mike Prince took the reins of Axe Capital, the show saw Mike Prince’s longtime antagonist Chuck Rhoades battle him for control of Axe Capital. Naturally, Mike Prince found a new nemesis in former US attorney Chuck Rhoades, who battled him in season six.

Since 2016, co-creators Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin have drawn inspiration from top tier business men such as Steve A. Cohen, Preet Bharara, and Elon Musk to develop morally ambiguous characters on television. Although Chuck Rhoades was imprisoned in season six as he tried to take down Mike Prince, the central power struggle between the two is guaranteed to continue in season seven.

Wealth is war, after all. With the next season of Billions just around the corner, there are even more questions about how it will play out. Now, if you’ve stopped tuning in, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season, from its release date to who will return and what will happen next.

When Will Billions Season 7 Be Released? When Can It Be Viewed?

Billions has yet to receive an official release date, but the series was officially renewed for a seventh season in February of 2022 when season six was still airing in February. Season five premiered in January, February and March, while previous seasons have debuted between January, February and March (with the exception of season five). As a result, it is likely to return to screens in early 2023. Hopefully, the wait for new episodes will be short. In October, Koppelmen said the first table read for season seven was underway. Billions had begun shooting a few weeks later, as casting notices were posted all over New York City, which indicated that the series was filming.
